New Patients

Referral letters

You must have a referral for your initial consultation. GP referrals are valid for 12 months and must be renewed if there are any consultations beyond this period. This is a Medicare requirement. Other specialist referrals are only valid for 3 months.

Registration forms

A new patient registration form will usually be emailed to you at the time of you booking the appointment. This form can be emailed back to the practice or brought in on the day of attending the appointment.

Consultation fees

You will be advised of the current fee schedule at the time of booking your appointment. Additional fees will be charged if any hearing tests or endoscopic examination of the nose or throat are performed to help with the management of you or your child. Both of these tests are Medicare rebateable services.

Our practice policy requires full payment on the day of consultation. Payment can be made with cash or credit card with our EFTPOS facility.

Medicare rebates can be organised for you in our practice electronically. An up-to-date referral letter is required by Medicare to receive a rebate. Please note that we are a privately funded practice and we do not bulk bill consultation fees.
